Geometry Pad Lesson

Recently, I was asked to design a lesson that would incorporate the use of iPads in a high school Geometry class.   After some research , I came across Geometry Pad lite and fell in love immediately!  What could possible make me fall in love with a Geometry app, you ask?  Well, first, this app explores geometry concepts through a graph.  Users can plot everything from single points and lines to actual triangle types, squares, and circles.  Once these items are plotted you can then play with placement, shape, length, etc.  The dimensions are easily pulled up so you can begin exploring relationships.  And that is what i Love!  You can approach Geometry from an inquiry, problem based approach!  Visit my website to see a problem based lesson I designed for Geometry Pad and have used in 6th grade and high school math.  https://sites.google.com/a/share.brevardschools.org/techined/math
